Empowering Urban Communities is crucial for fostering positive change for individuals, families and communities in Chicago and its surrounding neighborhoods. 

EmPower UC provides support in multiple dimensions—socially, emotionally, mentally, and financially to address the needs of the community in  holistic ways. 

EmPower UC is dedicated to interrupting violence using CVI methods to increase peace, teach conflict resolution and increase unification. 

Improving the lives of individuals and families who may face various challenges are the primary goals when creating our programs. 

Community outreach, mentoring, and educational programs are effective ways that we engage with individuals and families, offering them the resources and guidance they need to thrive.

Therapy, record expungement and advocacy services are available to assist in building resilience. Helping individuals make extraordinary gains towards self-awareness and healing from trauma is particularly important, as it enables them to overcome obstacles. 

.  EmPower UC is dedicated to connecting, working with and holding politicians accountable as they play a significant role in addressing systemic issues and creating lasting change at a larger scale.

EmPower Urban Communities hosts a variety of community events throughout the year, each aimed at fostering engagement and empowerment within our neighborhoods while making resources available at each event.
